A Ballycastle grandmother lobbed a walking stick through the living room of a house, Coleraine Magistrates Cout was told.
Martine Wilkinson (48), of Coleraine Road, pleaded guilty to criminal damage which occurred in April last year.
A prosecutor said there had been a dispute concerning the use of a car.
Defence barrister Francis Rafferty said the defendant had never been in court before. He alleged the defendant and her daughter received injuries during an incident and Wilkinson then broke the window.
Deputy District Judge Peter Magill told the court, on February 4, it was a shame to see someone with a hitherto clear record standing in front of him.
He gave the defendant a one year conditional discharge and ordered her to pay £200 compensation for the broken window.
