Hall of Fame award for Andrew Trimble with Mayor of CCGBC Cllr Sean Baetson and Sara Travers Rugby icon Andrew Trimble was the star guest at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s gala Sports Awards on Friday evening (November 1st). The former Ireland and Ulster player received rapturous applause as he was inducted in to the Hall of Fame. As a past pupil of Coleraine Academical Institution, Andrew’s path to sporting greatness is rooted in his home town where his skills were nurtured from a young age. The awards celebrated members of the Causeway Coast and Glens’ sporting community from a wide variety of disciplines, with the Hall of Fame award reserved for the region’s must illustrious sportspeople.
