Halloween Hullabaloo at The Crannagh

1 Mins read

The scene is set for this Saturday’s Halloween Hullabaloo at The Crannagh outside Coleraine. Brian McKay who was the driving force in the DJ team at the former Neros Nightclub in Portstewart said “I’ve been getting numerous messages on my Facebook page asking me if we’ll be featuring tunes from those great days and my answer has been a resounding YES of course!”.

Steve Graham is equally enthusiastic and has already set aside some similar anthems from back in the day and Brian Moore is promising a mix of everything – “I’ll play to whatever crowd is in front of me, he says, “but the emphasis will be on one big party!” The venue is very atmospheric with the lights playing on the adjacent river and with everyone encouraged to wear Fancy Dress it’s shaping up to be one of the best nights of the year. Whilst you can pay at the door tickets are also available in advance from The Sweet Briar in Coleraine and at The Crannagh. The event is also supporting the Caring Caretaker’s Charity Funds.

And the fun doesn’t end there with The Untouchables playing the following afternoon. Brian Giffen, who fronts the band, is looking forward to this tremendously as “we know that quite a few from our former residency in Shunters in Portrush are coming along and we’re really looking forward to seeing them again”. This is an entirely free event although customers will be asked for a donation to the Caring Caretaker’s Charities. Complementing the proceeds will be Brian Moore who is also looking forward to sharing a stage again with the guys he rates as one of the best bands in the country.
