‘Hardworking and caring lady who represented all in Moyle District Council’ Robin Swann

Tributes have been paid to former Mayor of Moyle District Council, Helen Harding who passed away peacefully at Causeway Hospital on 7th January 2020.

Councillor Harding represented the Ulster Unionist Party at Moyle Council between 1993 and 2011 and was on a number of council committees including the Road Safety Committee and the Twinning Association.

Mr Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assembly member, has said he was “very deeply saddened” to learn of the passing of Mrs Helen Harding, whom he described as “a hardworking and caring lady who represented all in Moyle District Council”.

Councillor Joan Baird OBE has also expressed her sympathies to the family and friends of Mrs Harding. ” Helen will be sadly missed and I ask all in the community to remember the Harding family circle in their thoughts and prayers at this difficult and challenging time”
