Road Policing patrols from Maydown helped to bring a pursuit to a close today when they detected a speeding driver on the Frosses Road who then refused to stop.

A police spokesperson said “With the help of our dog handler, air support and local Police, two arrests were made in the Armoy area and enquiries are continuing.

Unfortunately, one of our Road Policing patrol cars sustained a bit of damage”
