The Causeway Museum Service is currently offering a unique programme of guided tours and talks as part of the ‘On the brink the Politics of Conflict 1914-1916’ programme.
Alastair Harper is one of a small team of tour guides who have been researching stories on local men who served and died during World War One.
In conjunction with the project exhibition, Alastair will be delivering two walking tours on Thursday 10th November at 11am and Thursday 24th November at 3pm.
The tours are free and last approximately 1 ½ hours, starting and finishing at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre.
Betty Mc Nerlin, a local volunteer with the On the Brink programme, will deliver an illustrated talk exploring the often overlooked stories of local women who were decorated for their service during World War One.
The talk is free and will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 22nd November in The Keenaght Suite at The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre
