Holley Optometrists announce sudden death of Martin Holley

Martin Holley who opened Holley Optometrists on Railway Road on 1st February 1985 has died suddenly it has been announced.

Martin trained in England and worked in a number of Optical practices, gaining experience over 10 years, before returning to his home town of Coleraine to open his own Optometric practice.

In a social media statement a spokesperson for Holley Optometrists said “It is with great sadness that we wish to inform our patients of the sudden death of Martin Holley this morning.

We, as colleagues and friends, would like to convey our deepest sympathy and love to Martin’s family at this very sad time.

House and funeral strictly private due to government guidelines.”

A notice on funeral times read “HOLLEY – 25th May 2020, suddenly at his home, 50 Strand Road, Portstewart, Martin. Dearly beloved husband of Carole, much loved father of Jonathan, Stephen, Philip and Rebecca, father-in-law of Hannah and Chris, grandfather of Raphael, Coco and Ruby and brother of Rosemary, Alison and Patricia.

House and Funeral Strictly Private due to government guidelines.
