HUNTER: Welcomes audit into Causeway Coast and Glens Council

1 Mins read

SDLP MLA Cara Hunter has welcomed the audit into Causeway Coast and Glens Council.

Cara Hunter said: “I welcome today’s announcement by the Minister for Communities that she has requested an audit into Causeway Coast and Glens Council focusing on the disposal of some assets.

I know that this issue has been of concern to people in the Council area including myself since it was revealed in October that a right of way on public land was granted for £1.

I hope that this audit will bring clarity to the matter and that the Causeway Coast and Glens Council adopts a policy of greater transparency on issues such as this.”
