I am very pleased that this project had become a reality – Councillor David Harding

BT Coleraine

Speaking To Causeway Coast Community this afternoon Councillor David Harding said “I am very pleased that this project has become a reality.  My role was to set up the event in London (through my contact with Lord Ballyedmond) which has lead to the Data centre.  I have consistently supported Council Officials especially Richard Baker who deserves the real credit for the project.

There was a point last year when the whole deal was close to collapse when I was able to meet with Secretary of State Teresa Villiers at short notice. She acted very quickly and within a few hours the necessary papers had been processed by the Treasury.

Successful projects will always attract those who wish to take credit, my only interest is to bring investment into Coleraine.
