BT Coleraine

Ambrose Laverty has stated that the Independent model was the driving force behind his election success. While thanking those voters who carried him into the council with a huge mandate Councillor Laverty states:

“The Independent Councillors who went before me in this area have always represented the entire community. They can be drawn from different traditions but always consider what is right for all the people.

“My election agent Seamus Blaney, Chris McCaughan, Price McConaghy and more lately Padraig McShane have all represented the best interests of our people. I hope I am able to follow suit.

“I also hope I am able to draw on their experiences going forward. It is my intention to work closely with likeminded people both inside and outside the Council chamber.

On his huge mandate Councillor stated,

“It’s somewhat humbling and I am indebted to each and every voter. I want to thank them all and promise to do my best for the Borough “.
