Injury sweat for Adam

1 Mins read

Adam Mullan hopes to find out later this week the extent of his latest injury setback.

The defender only returned to action recently but aggravated the knee injury in the game with Dergview.

Now he’s hoping he gets positive feedback from a date with a specialist this week.

“I’ve had the scan and am waiting on the knee specialist to get back to me,” said Adam.

“As it stands now I’m in limbo until I get the results.

“There is no guarantee but I hope to hear this week and hopefully I’ll be back sooner rather than later.”

Mullan cut a frustrated figure as he had to sit out Friday’s defeat to Ballymena United.

“We underperformed, especially in the first half when we didn’t turn up.

“Looking back we had a lot of chances in the second half but perhaps that result will give us a kick up the backside”.

There was some good news however for Adam, who got engaged to fiancée Katherine Donnelly on Saturday.

Causeway Coast passes on our best wishes to the pair.
