A special event took place this afternoon to unveil the first-ever inscription stone for the student, artist and backpacker Inga Maria Hauser who was tragically murdered on the night of her arrival in Northern Ireland on April 6th 1988 and which to this day remains the only case of it’s kind.
April 6th 2018 marks the 30th anniversary of her murder which is still unsolved.
The event took place at the entrance to Ballypatrick Forest Park and was hosted by John Dallat MLA and Keeley Moss, both of whom have long campaigned for justice for Inga Maria. The event also featured words and music, which reflected Inga Maria’s love of music and artistic nature.
