iPad Stolen From Infuse Tea in Coleraine

1 Mins read

An iPad belonging to a Coleraine business was stolen this evening around 5.45 pm.

The iPad belonging to Infuse Artisan Tea in Coleraine was used a till system.

Áine McGuckian said “I was literally closing the shop and went upstairs for 2 minutes to secure the premises and came to find the door open and the iPad missing. The iPad itself is pretty worthless but as a small business every penny counts”.

Anyone with information about the theft should call police on 101.

Commenting on the theft, Councillor William McCandless said “This has been a despicable crime against a lovely young couple who recently opened their business in Coleraine. It is so sad that some member of the public committed this & I would appeal to that persons conscience – please hand this iPad in. If anyone witnessed this please contact PSNI.”

Infuse Artisan Tea, opened its doors last year on New Row, Coleraine.   The business idea was launched from participation in a nationwide competition called ‘TestTown’ in 2014, run by the Carnegie Trust.
