IRISH RADIO HAM SAVES THE DAY IN SOS DRAMA ON WELSH MOUNTAIN Esther Harper from Dungiven a member of Northern Ireland North West Raynet group was chatting on 40 Meters from a Worked All Britain square in Fermanagh when she received a May Day call from an amateur in Wales requesting urgent medical assistance in the way of HELIMED for a casualty. Esthers training kicked in and after taking vital information she was able to alert Air Ambulance Wales who responded, really glad the casualty was helped so quickly. This was a case of no telephone signal of any kind on the welsh mountain but the radio operator was fit to mke contact with Esther who in turn raised the medial sercives.
