Kearney content with weekend’s work

1 Mins read

Despite losing to Dergview in the North West Senior Cup semi-final on Saturday, Oran Kearney was relatively content with his weekend’s work.

It was very much mission accomplished with games against Loughgall on Friday and Dergview on Saturday.

That was on top of the North West Senior Cup quarter-final win over Portstewart in midweek.

“The main objective was to get game time into everyone,” explained Oran.

“To do that we had to split the squad up. Friday worked well, Saturday not so much.

“In terms of getting 90 minutes into the legs, well, that was the main aim.”
