Limavady man has charges withdrawn

A MAN who had been accused of maliciously wounding a woman with intent to so her grievous bodily harm and possessing a knife with intent to commit an offence has had the charges withdrawn.

The development regarding John Kenneth McNicholl (30), of Benevenagh Drive in Limavady, came at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday where he appeared via video link from prison.

The charges related to July 26 this year.

The defendant’s solicitor was Garrett Greene.
