The ‘One Show’ will be replaced on the week of the Open Championship in Portrush with live broadcasts from the town.

The programme that will air between 7-8pm will feature artists, local celebrities, and sports stars.

When Max Faulkner won the first Open to be held at Royal Portrush, nobody could have imagined it would be another 68 years before golf’s greatest Championship would grace the links of Northern Ireland again.

The news was revealed at Council’s business engagement meetings in Portrush last Monday.
