Local Destinations Mentioned In Heartbreaking Episode Of Coronation Street

Fans of Coronation Street have seen characters Michelle Connor and Steve McDonald involved in a heartbreaking story line in recent weeks which saw the couple lose their baby at 23 weeks.

In last nights emotional episode filmed in Aberffraw on the South West Coast of Anglesey, Michelle mentioned that she always wanted to live by the sea bringing back memories spending summers in Ireland.   She mentioned that every other weekend her family would travel all over Ireland including local destinations such as Ballycastle, Whiterocks and the Giants Causeway.

Steve then asked why they called it the Giant’s Causeway and Michelle explained the history behind the world heritage site.

The couple later in the episode said a final farewell to their beloved son.
