Male charged with two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place

A 41 year old man has been charged with two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. He is expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates court in the morning.

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The male was one of four arrested in Larne on Saturday 22 April by detectives investigating recent criminal incidents in the town. The other three males have been released on police bail.
