Man accused of importing ‘Magic Mushrooms’ appears at Coleraine Court

A MAN has appeared in court accused of importing ‘Magic Mushrooms’.

Kieran McConnell (22), of Dunhill Road, Coleraine, is also charged with attempting to possess the Class A drugs – real name Psilocin.

The defendant was in the dock at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday which heard the charges relate to September 10 this year.

A police officer said she believed she could connect the defendant to the charges.

A prosecutor said the full file in the case has yet to be received from police.

The case was adjourned to the end of January and the defendant was released on £500 bail.

No further details were given to the court.
