Man accused of using skateboard as offensive weapon has matter further adjourned

A MAN accused of offences including having a skateboard as an offensive weapon has had the matter further adjourned at court.

Daryl Dooey (35), whose address was listed as Ballywillin Crescent in Portrush, is charged in connection with alleged offences in May this year.

His charges also include being disorderly at Station Square in Portrush and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The defendant had been excused from attending Coleraine Magistrates Court on December 23 where his defence barrister was Alan Stewart.

The case was adjourned to January 6.
