1 Mins read

A Coleraine man has admitted a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Graham Russell Silverson (27), from the Shell Hill area, was involved in an incident on November 15 last year.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.

A defence lawyer said it was a guilty plea and that the “only issue is whether its a push or a punch”.

He said his client had a previously clear record.

The case was adjourned to the end of April for a pre-sentence report.

District Judge Peter King said it was likely that there could be a “community disposal” in the case.
