Man admits driving while disqualified

A MAN has pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified but denies being at the wheel with excess alcohol in his breath.

Piotr Czopek (37), with an address listed as Somerset Court in Coleraine, is accused in connection with an incident in the vicinity of Somerset Park on August 15 this year.

He case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday where the defence solicitor was Brendan McLernon.

The matter has been adjourned to October 28 to fix a date for the drink driving allegation to be contested.
