A man from the Garvagh area has admitted a number of motoring offences.

Aiden McNicholl (33), of Glen Road, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday June 10.

Defence solicitor Paddy McGurk said the defendant was pleading guilty to all the charges he faced.

The charges included driving dangerously and also driving without due care and attention at Milltown Road, Ballymoney, on December 8 last year.

On the same date the defendant was uninsured to drive a Volkswagen Polo and failed to remain at the scene of an accident and report the accident.

He also pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in his breath at Main Street, Dunloy, on December 8.

He was also charged with being in charge of a vehicle with excess alcohol in his breath and driving with excess alcohol at Cairnview Park in Dunloy on the same date.

The defendant was also uninsured to use a Seat Ibiza on December 8 at Cairnview Park.

He was given £500 bail and the case was adjourned to July for a pre-sentence report and in the mean time the defendant has been banned from driving.
