Man admits St Patrick’s Day offences

1 Mins read

A man has admitted charges of disorderly and indecent behaviour which happened in Portrush on St Patrick’s Day this year – the day before his 32nd birthday
Thomas David Marshall Sheppard, of Knockbracken Court in Coleraine, committed offences at Eglinton Street.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.

A charge of resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty was withdrawn.

A defence solicitor said: “You will see the date of the offence”.

District Judge Liam McNally said the defendant was in breach of a Crown Court suspended sentence so he wanted a pre-sentence report.

The case was adjourned to July.
