A MAN has admitted stealing an ‘LOL Surprise pet toy’ and remote control car with a total value of almost £50 from B&M Bargains in Coleraine.

John Coyle (48) appeared before Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.

The defendant, of St Brecan’s Park in Derry/Londonderry, committed theft on October 20 last year.

Kathryn Mary Kelly (40), of the same address, denies the same theft charge.

She pleaded guilty to stealing a Ryan’s World mystery figure, a Ryan’s World 7″ plush toy and a Ryan’s World Mystery Egg worth £23 from B&M Bargains on October 23 last year.

The matters were adjourned for two weeks and the defendants were released on £500 bail with a condition banning them from entering B&M Bargains in Coleraine.
