
A woman fell on the Causeway Coast Path on Saturday afternoon, between the Giants Causeway and Dunseverick. Coleraine and Ballycastle Coastguard Rescue Teams were tasked to the scene along with a Crew from the Northern Ambulance Service. The causalty was attended to and it was decided that she needed to be Airlifted. CGOC Belfast Coastguard tasked a Coastguard Helicopter form Prestwick Rescue 199, who extracted the female and took her to the Causeway Hospital at Coleriane, PICTURE KEVIN MCAULEY/MCAULEY MULTIMEDIA
A man was airlifted to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast earlier this afternoon after falling from a cliff at Murlough Bay outside Ballycastle.
The coastguard said that the man was airlifted due to suspected rib and pelvic injuries.
Ballycastle and Coleraine Coastguard Rescue teams attended the scene.
