Man caused damage to holiday hostel

A man has admitted causing £345 of damage to Portrush Holiday Hostel and making off without paying £45 for accommodation.

Lee McVicker (24), committed offences on March 28 last year.

On April 19 last year he caused damage to a window at ‘Shenanigans’ bar in Portstewart.

He is due to be sentenced later this month.

Meanwhile, he is due to contest a charge that he stole trainers, cash and jewellery to the value of £270 in April, 2017.

McVicker had addresses listed as Bushmills and Portrush on his charge sheets but, Coleraine Magistrates Court heard on March 4, he is now reportedly living in the Derry/Londonderry area.
