A man charged in relation to an incident in which a man was stabbed in Coleraine has been further remanded in custody.
Ryan Millen (21), of Boyne Row in Upperlands, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent on October 6 last year.
He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on February 25 via video link from Hydebank Prison where he is on remand in connection with the charge.
The court was told a Preliminary Enquiry – the legal step to send a case to the Crown Court – is due to be held on March 25.
Previous courts heard a man from the Ballymoney area received “quite significant injuries” after being stabbed eleven times in Coleraine last October.
A police officer previously said Millen claimed he had been assaulted by the injured man and another male and that as he had “feared for his life” he had acted in “self-defence”.
