BT Coleraine

A MAN charged with attempted murder after a woman suffered a number of stab wounds has had his case further adjourned.

Gareth Lee Morrow (29), of Woodburn Crescent in Coleraine, was mentioned at the town’s Magistrates Court on March 23.

The court heard a Preliminary Enquiry (PE) – the legal step to send a case to the Crown Court – is due to be held on March 30.

A prosecutor asked for an adjournment in connection with obtaining “forensic evidence”.

District Judge Peter King said he was concerned that the PE date is “slipping further and further into the ether”.
