A Limavady man accused of driving a mini-moto whilst unfit due to drink or drugs denies all the charges he faces.
Kevin Barry Clarence (25), of Glenview Drive, is alleged to have committed offences at Glenmore Gardens in the town on February 25 this year.
He is also accused of driving while disqualified; being uninsured; taking the mini-moto without authority; failing to wear protective headgear and failing to provide a specimen.
The defendant, who appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday via video link from Maghaberry Prison, also denies stealing a debit card on the same date.
Defence solicitor Paddy McGurk said the offences are denied on the grounds that the defendant was “not driving”.
The defendant was further remanded in custody and the case adjourned to June 17.
