Man denies ‘going equipped for burglary’

A MAN accused of having ‘an adapted balaclava safety pinned to hide the face’, a torch and a pair of rubber gloves denies a charge of ‘going equipped for burglary’.

The charge faced by Gareth Hyndman (43), with an address listed as Coleraine Street in Kilrea, relates to September 26 last year.

He appeared via video link from prison at Coleraine Magistrates Court on January 20 and the case was adjourned to February 3 to fix a date for a contest.
