A MAN accused of ‘going equipped for theft’ by possessing a ‘face covering’, screwdrivers, torch and a pair of gloves is denying the charge.

Gareth Hyndman (44), with an address listed as Coleraine Street in Kilrea, is charged in relation to March 8 this year.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on October 26 a defence solicitor said the issue was “the frame of mind of the defendant, whether or not he was intent”.

The case was adjourned to November 9.
