Man faces allegations in relation to Portrush

A MAN is accused of being ‘in charge’ of a vehicle at Eglinton Lane in Portrush with excess alcohol in his breath.

Curtis Lawrence William Turner (27), of Charlotte Street, Ballymoney, is also accused of failing to provide a specimen of breath.

The charges relate to December 8, 2019.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on December 30.

The defendant was not present but his defence solicitor John Murphy was in court.

The case has been adjourned to January 6.
