Man faces Portrush knife charge

A man has appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court charged with possessing a knife in a public place – Portrush’s Eglinton Street.

David Duffin (40), of Avondale Court in Coleraine, is also accused of being disorderly and resisting a police officer.

The alleged offences relate to July 15 this year.

At court a police officer believed she could connect the accused to the charge.
Duffin, whose defence solicitor was Garrett Greene, had the case adjourned to August 19.
