Man Facing Charges In Relation To Seizure Of Cannabis Worth Over £36,000 Is Released On Bail

A man who is one of three people charged in connection with the seizure of over 70 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of over £36,000 at a property in Coleraine has been released on bail.

Patrick Warzichowski (26), of Mount Street in the town, is accused of cultivating cannabis, being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug and possessing cannabis.

The charges relate to September 6 this year following a police search at Mount Street.

The defendant had previously been remanded in custody along with the other suspects and he appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday October 15 via video link.

The case was adjourned until November.

A co-accused, Szymon Karpik (26), of Mount Street, Coleraine, was previously released on bail.

A third accused – Marcin Kobylinski (26) of Townhead Street, Ballymoney, is still in custody on remand.
