A man accused of several offences including four assaults on police has had his case list as a contest to be heard in September.
Cathair McKendry (21), with an address listed as Mill Street in Cushendall, faces ten charges which also includes allegedly being disorderly at Lodge Road in Coleraine on June 11 last year.
He is also charged with attempting to damage the door of a police car and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty.
The defendant is also accused of driving whilst unfit at Lodge Road and using an Audi A4 without insurance, as well as a driving licence offence.
The defendant’s solicitor Garrett Greene said bodycam footage would be viewed.
A prosecutor told Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday there were a “large number of witnesses”.
