Man gets penalty points for driving offences

A Dunloy man has been given nine penalty points and fined £375 in connection with driving offences.

Nicholas McMullan (48), a stove fitter of Garryduff Road, was detected in connection with a Ford Transit van at Cullybackey Road, Ballymena, in March this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday a defence solicitor entered guilty pleas to charges of no MOT; no driving licence; using a vehicle without insurance and misuse of ‘trade plates’.
