A man with a Ballintoy address has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Connall Brown (24), of Whitepark Road, was in court in connection with arson on March 11, 2017.
The case had been dealt with at court last year and sentencing had been deferred.
At Coleraine Magistrates Court on March 4 this year, District Judge Liam McNally noted he had previously set the defendant “tests” which, if passed, meant he would not be jailed.
Handing down a suspended sentence the judge said the defendant had not committed any further offences and he had paid £2,000 compensation.
