Man has attempted choking charge withdrawn

A Rasharkin man who had been accused of attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle a female has had the charge withdrawn.

Francis James Quinn (49), of Rockview Park, still faces three charges – two of assaulting the same female and a third charge of damaging a SIM card belonging to the female.
The allegations relate to February this year.

The defendant appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday June 10 and the case was adjourned to June 24.
