Man has case sent to Antrim Crown Court

A MAN accused of wounding a man with intent to do him grievous bodily harm has had his case sent to Antrim Crown Court.

Gary Moore (31), of Greenmount Avenue, Coleraine, is also charged with possessing an offensive weapon – a knife – at Blackthorn Court in Coleraine.

The charges relate to July 3 last year.

The defendant was at Coleraine Magistrates Court on March 16 for a Preliminary Enquiry – the legal step to send a case to the Crown Court.

The case was adjourned to Antrim Crown Court on April 21.
