Man has case sent to Crown Court

A man accused of maliciously causing grievous bodily harm with intent to a female and making a threat to kill her has been remanded in custody and his case sent to Antrim Crown Court.

Lee Scott Dorrington, of the Simon Community at Lodge Road in Coleraine, is accused of committing offences on February 22 this year.

He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday June 10.

No further details were given in relation to the charges.

The case has been adjourned to Antrim Crown Court in September.
