Man is accused of assault and possessing a ‘Stanley Knife’ as an offensive weapon

A MAN has been charged with possessing a ‘Stanley Knife’ as an offensive weapon in a public place – Old Mill Grange in Portstewart.

David James Randell (35), of Old Mill Grange – is also accused of assaulting a female on the same date – July 29 this year.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, this week and adjourned to October.
