Man is accused of attempting to ‘choke’ person

A Rasharkin man accused of attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle a person has had his case adjourned to the end of April.

Francis James Quinn (48), of Rockview Park, is alleged to have committed the offence on February 3 this year.

He is also accused of damaging a Sim Card and assault on February 3.

Relating to February 22 he is accused of assaulting the same person.

The defendant appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.
