
A man charged with being disorderly and assaulting two police officers on Easter Monday has been banned from Portrush as part of bail conditions.
Brandon Quinn (24), with an address at Laurel Hill Gardens in Coleraine, is alleged to have been disorderly in the vicinity of Main Street in Portrush on Monday.
On the same day he is also accused of assaulting a police officer occasioning him actual bodily harm.
The third charge being faced by the defendant is assaulting another police officer occasioning her actual bodily harm.
The defendant appeared at Limavady Magistrates Court today.
A guilty or not guilty plea has yet to be entered.
He was released on his own bail of £500 along with a surety of £2,000.
As part of the bail conditions the defendant is not to enter Portrush; is not to enter licensed premises and is not to consume alcohol at any time or place.
He also has a 9pm – 5am curfew.
The case was adjourned to Coleraine Magistrates Court on May 13.
