Man is accused of being disorderly in Portstewart and Portrush

A MAN is accused of being disorderly in the vicinity of Castleton Park in Portstewart on August 4.

William Johnston (24), of Glentaisie Park, Portrush, is also accused of assaulting a police officer; resisting another officer and causing criminal damage to a CCTV camera and custody cell.

The defendant is also accused of being disorderly at Glentaisie Park on May 23 this year and obstructing and resisting two police officers on the same date.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 19 the cases were adjourned to October 26.
