Man is accused of being in charge of vehicle whilst over limit

A 37-year-old Coleraine man is accused of being in charge of a vehicle at Long Commons in the town whilst having excess alcohol in his breath.

Robert Alexander Mitchell, of Lismurphy Avenue, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday where his legal representative was Brendan McLernon.

The charge relates to May 19 this year and the defendant is also accused of using a Skoda Octavia without insurance.
He was given £500 bail and the case adjourned to July.
