Man Is Accused Of Having ‘Large Knife’ In Ballysally

A Coleraine man denies a charge of having a large red-handled kitchen knife without good reason or lawful authority in a public place – Danes Hill Road in the town.

Ryan McLaughlin (23), of Ballysally Road, is alleged to have committed an offence on October 16, 2018.

He was at Coleraine Magistrates Court on December 31 where defence barrister Francis Rafferty said the charge will be contested in February.
