Man is accused of making threats to kill

A Coleraine man has been accused of threatening to kill a male with the intention of intimidating him as a witness.

Nathan Robert McIntyre (22), of Castle Place, is accused of committing offences on April 25 and May 2 this year.

The defendant appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on May 20 and the case was adjourned to July.

The accused was released on £500 bail and he is not to have any contact with the alleged injured party.
