A MAN accused of a number of offences including allegedly possessing a pair of scissors as an offensive weapon with intent to commit grievous bodily harm has been on remand in custody for three months, Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, was told on November 2.
The defendant is John Jeffrey Douglas (40), of Benevenagh Drive, Limavady.
The scissors charge is in relation to April 29 this year when the defendant faces a number of other charges – four assaults and three threats to kill as well as two charges of criminal damage.
He also is accused of assaults and breaching a restraining order in February and August this year.
The cases have been adjourned to November 9.
